One of three new scrolls debuting as part of Have You Eaten x Kasama Space’s Meryenda show, opening this Wednesday, May 17th. Opening reception from 5-8pm.
I feel like the more I work with rice paper, the harder it gets… trying to hold a giant scroll with one hand while taking a photo of it with the phone in my other hand remains a consistent level of difficulty, however.
Still kinda obsessed with the whole concept of square word calligraphy.
Colored inks are for doodling. Dunno how those red splotches of paint got in there though.

Big batch of big cat spirit sketch card commissions. They all have glitter pen on them and don’t scan well, but man, that black leopard with black spots in particular looks pretty sweet irl. :O

I’m back from FWA!!
It was a swell time and I definitely plan to go back again next year! It was really great seeing lots of new and old faces (college friends especially!), and I was really surprised that some people actually remembered me from FWA five years ago? x3
I did 36 commissions over the weekend, so here are just a few of them! XD
