An average number of pages of lettering to go through trying to get things just right (or as right as they’re gonna get before I get sick of words).
In case you were wondering how many sketches it takes to do a lettering thing, this is about half of it. 8D;;
A designy thing I did for @mightier ~ it was lots of fun! I was really excited for the chance to work on lettering stuff for someone else, even if it was also kinda nerve wrecking, haha. 8D;
Sorting through photos from the last few months today and found this hilarious bunch of photos of the hell I went through trying to get the words JUST RIGHT for this piece.
I went through about 40-50 sheets of rice paper and at least a dozen pages of notebook, only to discard most of it. :D I ended up trashing all the handlettered English to use a font, hahahaha.
