My pencil of choice is the Uni Kuru Toga 0.5, but for some reason it feels better to not be so specific when it’s a pencil…
I have no patience for drawing dragons. I kind of wish I didn’t have to crop Kyuubey’s tail in the final version of that, but I didn’t have much wiggle room on paper size/proportions. I bought a bunch of pre-cut mats and they’re all the same size, so. :P
Owls look funny when they open their mouths. It’s like, oh hey, your mouth is actually normal sized, HUH.
Drawing hands clearly isn’t hard enough. So I’m gonna watch videos of pianists and draw their hands. While they’re playing. Really fast songs.
In other news, I miss my piano. :c
Channeling/reffing some Demonysh. You can always tell when something is drawn for animation, or the style of someone who works frequently with animation.
I have always struggled with this sort of style though? And cartoony stuff in general? It’s weird because it isn’t like I didn’t fanart the hell out of Disney animals, same as everyone else, but none of it really stuck? I dunno.
Right Azula’s neck is too longggggg. Also, am I the only person that likes Zuko with his first stupid hairstyle? :o
